A Masterful Attic Transformation
In this award-winning attic transformation, the Attic Group took alterations and additions to an entirely new level. This remarkable project involved many stunning upgrades, including creating a luxurious attic bedroom, complete with an en-suite bathroom and a spacious walk-in robe.
The centrepiece of this transformation is a beautifully crafted timber staircase that seamlessly connects the existing dwelling to the newfound attic oasis. Architectural joinery throughout the home adds a touch of elegance and practicality, maximising every centimetre for functionality.
The renovation project included:
- Thoughtful additions like eave storage.
- A comprehensive overhaul of the electrical and plumbing systems.
- Installing efficient air conditioning and under-floor heating to keep the home comfortable year-round.
The exterior received a facelift with a skillion rear dormer and two new front dormer windows, elevating the curb appeal and flooding the home with natural light. The external cladding and metal deck roof enhance the aesthetics and contribute to the structural integrity of the dwelling.
Inside and out, the transformation is sealed with a fresh coat of external and internal paint, creating a seamless and refreshed look. The finishing touches include exquisite floor finishes and the supply and installation of new timber and aluminium louvres and windows, bringing together style and functionality.
This project won the Attic Group team the prestigious 2023 Master Builders Association of NSW Excellent in Housing Award in the Roof and Attic Conversions category.
