John and Alison have a beautiful period house in Camberwell, but with not enough space to have their children and grandchildren to stay. A sold brick garage in the rear garden provided the perfect base for a new self-contained apartment on top. Our designers worked with this base, fitting in a compact, yet neatly designed lounge, kitchen and bathroom, adding big windows onto the garden gives a light and airy feel of more space than there actually is.
